Open 3D models & drawings without any software.

Drag in a GLB, FBX, STL, DXF or PDF and it opens instantly — rotate, zoom, toggle layers and measure. Navisworks, Revit and DWG open through a free route too.

What it does

View first, no software needed.

A quick way to look at a model or drawing someone sent you — on any device, without buying or installing a CAD package.

3D models

Open GLB, GLTF, FBX, OBJ and STL. Orbit, pan and zoom, switch to wireframe, and toggle individual objects on or off.

2D drawings

Open DXF drawings with full layer control, and multi-page PDF drawings with page navigation — all in the browser.

Measure & capture

Measure distances on a drawing, isolate layers, then save a clean screenshot to share on WhatsApp or drop into a report.

Layer & object list

Every DXF layer and 3D object appears in a side panel. Tap to hide or show, so a busy drawing stays readable.

Lazy loading

Heavy 3D engines download only when you actually open a 3D file, so the page itself stays light and fast.

Works on mobile

Touch controls for rotate, pan and pinch-zoom mean you can check a drawing on your phone the moment it lands.

Opening a Navisworks NWD file

NWD is a closed Autodesk format, so no browser tool can read it directly — that is true of every online viewer, not just this one. There are two free ways to see it:

  1. Autodesk Viewer route: pick the NWD here and the viewer hands it to the free Autodesk Viewer, where any NWD version opens with model tree and properties.
  2. Export FBX: in Navisworks Manage or Simulate, use File → Export → FBX, then open that FBX here directly — no cloud needed.
Good to know

Questions, answered.

Which file formats can I open?

Directly in the browser: GLB, GLTF, FBX, OBJ and STL for 3D, plus DXF and PDF for 2D drawings. Navisworks NWD, Revit RVT, DWG and IFC open through the free Autodesk Viewer.

Can I open a Navisworks NWD file for free?

Yes. NWD is a closed Autodesk format, so it does not open directly in a browser, but the viewer sends it to the free Autodesk Viewer where any NWD version opens. You can also export FBX from Navisworks and open that directly here.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The viewer runs entirely in your web browser. There is nothing to install and no login to view a file.

Is my file uploaded to a server?

For the directly supported formats, files are read and rendered in your own browser and are not uploaded anywhere. Only the Autodesk Viewer route for NWD, RVT and DWG involves Autodesk's own service.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The viewer is touch-friendly — rotate, pan and pinch to zoom — so it works on phones and tablets as well as desktops.

Have a file to check?

Drag it in and see it in seconds. No sign-up, no install.
